College is situated in the heart of the Ichalkaranji City. College has an excellent infrastructure and accessibility from different parts of the town. Apart from being the Machester City, Ichalkaranji is now the natural choice and preferred destination for students from different villiages across the Ichalkaranji to pursue education, be it in Arts, or Commerce.
Kanya College, Ichalkaranji has a long history that indicates the institution's growth and expansion. Shri Swami Vivekananda Shikshan Sanstha founded an independent girls' college in Ichalkaranji in 1984-85, with 50 girl students. During its early years, the institution was housed on the premises of Santha's ASC College for few days , later it housed in the premises of Girls High School in Ichalkaranji until 1993. The college building has been made more provisions for the expansion.
On the auspicious occasion of Dashahara, foundation bricks for a new proposed building were laid in 1994-95. Various donors across the city have generously donated for this noble cause. A new structure with 24 rooms was built for the institute. The College has it's own specious two floor, centrally air-conditioned state of the art buiding.
CLASSROOM , & ICT CLASSROOM
The ARPK's campus spreads over 1.17 acres in a beautiful and serene atmosphere ideally suited for education. Total built up area of the institute is 2839 Sq. Meter. The College is having a seprate principle cabin, modern office block, modern well equipped, well vanitelated & good-conditioned classrooms, well planned corridors. Classrooms: Spread across two floors lie 33 well-ventilated classrooms that create the perfect learning environment. The unique architecture of these classrooms allows for spaces where students can enjoy the view in their leisure time. All classrooms on the two floor are well-vanitilated. Four classroom, seminar hall & Naac cum seminar hall is affixed with overhead LCD projector with Wi-fi facility to facilitate the teaching learning process. Various committe boards are displyed across the corridors. The college displays a list of helpline numbers ranging from hospitals to police stations to grievance redressal cell of the university and the helpline numbers of university & local level.
GYMKHANA & SPORT FACILITY
College has its own ground in the premises of 2045 Sq. Meter. The college has a basketball court, a volleyball court nd Kho-Kho & Kabbadi, for outdoor sports. Additionally, it has facilities for indoor games like table tennis, carom and chess.
LABORATORIES
There are four fully-equipped laboratories for Home Science, Psychology and Computer/Internet browsing. These laboratories help students complement their sound theoretical knowledge with hands-on application.
COMPUTER LAB
38 branded personal computers are installed in computer lab & browsing center at library , all networked to enhance the learning process and enable the faculty attention and proper conduct of the University prescribed courses. All the computers in the Lab and the Office have a dedicatedbroadband for Internet connectivity of 50 mbps, which can be used by students and staff at free.
AUDITORIUM CUM SEMINAR HALL
The auditorium cum seminar hall of the institutes, and open stage, which are available to students for reversal and practise, provide a helpful platform for their talent.
CANTEEN/CAFETERIA
A canteen with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food is also available in the college campus.
