ABOUT NAAC
The NATIONAL ASSESSMENT AND ACCREDITATION COUNCIL (NAAC) conducts assessment and accreditation of Higher Educational Institutions (HEI) such as colleges, universities or other recognised institutions to derive an understanding of the ‘Quality Status’ of the institution. NAAC evaluates the institutions for its conformance to the standards of quality in terms of its performance related to the educational processes and outcomes, curriculum coverage, teaching-learning processes, faculty, research, infrastructure, learning resources, organization, governance, financial well being and student services.

MISSION
- To arrange for periodic assessment and accreditation of institutions of higher education or units thereof, or specific academic programs or projects;
- To stimulate the academic environment for promotion of quality of teaching-learning and research in higher education institutions;
- To encourage self-evaluation, accountability, autonomy and innovations in higher education;
- To undertake quality-related research studies, consultancy and training programs;
- To collaborate with other stakeholders of higher education for quality evaluation, promotion and sustenance.

INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE CELL (IQAC) AT ARPK
The college's Internal Quality Assurance Cell, is responsible for creating, maintaining, and improving quality in all areas. The IQAC is the institution's central quality-control committee. It is chaired by the Principal and consists of senior faculty members, a representation from the local community, and a student representative. Its goal is to create and maintain an academic and administrative excellence system.
It determines the institution's short- and long-term goals.

- To make unrelenting efforts to extend quality education across socially and educationally disadvantaged classes and communities.
- Making specific provisions for rural communities, as well as sharing knowledge and supporting arts and culture.

- To develop a strong group of skilled young researchers/teachers with a strong desire to learn and a keen interest in Arts & Commerce.
