🏛️Library Building
The college library is housed in a dedicated building with a carpet area of 369 square meters, centrally located on the campus and operates under the Library Advisory Committee, formulated as per the guidelines set by the Government of Maharashtra. . It boasts a well-curated collection of books, journals, and e-resources covering all major subject areas. The collection includes essential textbooks, supplementary reading materials, and reference books. The library’s operations are fully computerized. Currently, library houses a collection of 29,751 books, including 14,315 unique titles and 17,800 reference books, alongside 214 rare books. In the current academic year, the library serves 1,200 users, offering remote access to e-resources through the N-LIST (INFLIBNET), which provides scholarly content. To further promote academic engagement, the library regularly organizes events and programs that foster a reading culture across the institution. The library provides a serene environment conducive to academic work. This spacious facility supports quiet study, collaborative research, and houses an extensive collection of resources, reading areas, and specialized sections, fostering an atmosphere of academic excellence.
📋Library Advisory Committee
In line with the statutes of the state government, a Library Advisory Committee has been established to ensure the library’s smooth operation and continuous development. The committee shapes policy, ensures effective functioning, and aligns the library’s growth with institutional goals, addressing the evolving needs of both students and faculty.

🔧Library Automation
The library has been automated using e-Granthalaya 3.0, an integrated library automation software developed by the National Informatics Centre, under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India. This user-friendly software has been in use since the academic year 2017-18. Additionally, we have installed Koha 23.05, a robust and user-friendly library management system. We plan a full transition to Koha following the NAAC visit.An in-house developed footfall tracking system monitors user visits, while the Institutional Repository (IR), created using D’Space, showcases the institution’s research publications.
🎓Extension Activities
To promote a reading culture, we regularly host extension activities, including an annual 'Best Reader' award, book expos, and book review competitions. The library also organizes national and institutional-level workshops, supporting professional development and continuous learning for students and staff.
🔗Library Linkages
Through linkages with various institutions, we’ve provided assistance in automating their libraries and creating NDLI Clubs. These collaborations have enabled us to conduct two Carrier Oriented Certificate Courses at our institution, further strengthening our academic outreach.
👥Alumni & Community Support
The library benefits from ongoing support from our Alumni Association, which recently donated new desktop computers and storage units, ensuring the library remains well-equipped for the future. The library has also received community support, notably through recent upgrades to its flooring.
🔮Future Plans
Looking ahead, the library aims to expand its physical and digital collections, enhance user engagement through advanced services, and upgrade its infrastructure. After the NAAC visit, we plan to fully transition to the Koha system and introduce workshops and literary events to better support the academic and research needs of students and faculty, keeping the library at the forefront of information management.
